We are seeking an enthusiastic and relationship-focused classroom teacher to join our Junior School. This is an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking school as we proactively respond to roll growth and the new curriculum, embedding our curriculum design criteria and effective teaching model to ensure every learner and teacher thrives.
Our kura delivers an innovative curriculum through highly effective, evidence-based pedagogy, enabling us to know and grow every learner as an individual. You will create an engaging, well-managed and culturally sustaining learning environment in which learners are known, connected, supported and challenged to succeed.
We are looking for a reflective and adaptable teacher who understands the learning and developmental needs of Year 7-8 learners. You will build strong relationships with learners and whānau, maintain high expectations and use evidence to respond to individual strengths and needs. Through collaborative planning and consistent practice, you will help learners develop strong literacy and numeracy foundations, positive learning habits, confidence, resilience and independence as they prepare for Middle School.
