Whangaparāoa College is seeking an experienced teacher and aspirational leader to join us as our Principal’s Nominee (PN).
This is an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking school as we proactively respond to roll growth and the new curriculum, embedding our curriculum design criteria and effective teaching model to ensure every learner and teacher thrives.
The key accountabilities of the Principal’s Nominee role are leading quality assessment practice, ensuring robust quality assurance, and managing NZQA administrative compliance. The successful candidate will be a respected assessment expert with exceptional attention to detail who can manage assessment data integrity, oversee internal and external moderation, and empower staff with support and relevant professional learning.
With a school-wide focus on raising literacy and engagement, strong bicultural pathways, and a commitment to “know and grow” every learner, you will collaborate with highly engaged middle and senior leaders to support our diverse and vibrant community.
