Vocal Tutor

Our Arts department is looking for an enthusiastic and capable vocal teacher for 4 hours of lessons per week (plus non contact time), fixed-term until 31st October.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have a current LAT or practising certificate and vocal specialist experience working as a singing itinerant teacher 
  • Be able to prepare students for NCEA vocal performance  assessments up to NCEA Level 3 (  and have a songwriting background would be an advantage.)
  • Be able to lead a choir as part of their hours
  • Be energetic and enthusiastic
  • Be able to work with a diverse range of singing students 
  • Be culturally competent and have the requisite skills to build positive relationships in our kura.
